About Alesia
Jambo! My name is Alesia, a native Swahili tutor from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
I want to teach Swahili because I love helping people communicate and feel at home in Tanzania. When you speak Swahili, Tanzanians open their hearts to you!
I am a patient and friendly teacher. I teach real, street Swahili - not just book Swahili. You will learn how to greet, bargain at Kariakoo, order food, and make Tanzanian friends from your first lesson.
I welcome all levels - beginners, expats, volunteers, and travelers. My lessons are fun, practical, and 100% conversation.

Hello! I'm Alesia from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Swahili is my mother tongue.
I love teaching Swahili because I enjoy helping foreigners connect with Tanzanian people and culture. I have helped many expats, volunteers and tourists in Dar es Salaam speak real, everyday Swahili - the Swahili we use in daladala, at the market, and with friends.
My lessons are friendly, simple, and full of conversation. I focus on speaking, not boring textbook grammar. I will help you speak confidently in just a few weeks.
