I am Annie Macal, an English tutor with classroom experience in grades 7 through 12. My lessons are focused, patient, and built around your current assignments. I review a recent essay or reading response before our first session to pinpoint weak spots. A typical 55-minute lesson includes a short grammar warm-up, one writing rule with examples, guided paragraph revision, independent sentence construction, and a one-paragraph exit task. My specialty is helping students defend their claims with textual proof. My students range from 6th grade through community college English 101.
