About Mari

Hi, my name is Mari. I was born and raised in the Philippines and have been living in London, United Kingdom for over a decade. I am a self-taught artist working primarily with acrylic, charcoal, and watercolour.
My work explores abstract forms, urban sketching, and figurative subjects as a way of expressing my thoughts, emotions, and personal experiences. Each piece reflects a part of my journey—it is a visual record of my growth and evolution as a person.
I consider myself an emerging artist, having devoted the past three years to developing my practice. After a year of consistent exploration and practice, I began participating in exhibitions. Since then, I have gained confidence, continued to exhibit my work, and have had the opportunity to sell some of my pieces. (concealed information)

About the lesson
