About Pauline
My name is Pauline and I am a second year Midwifery student at the University of East Anglia. I am French but have benefitted from going to an English Primary school, where I learnt English, and a French Secondary and Sixth Form which has allowed me to understand the difference in teaching methods. Whilst in secondary school I sat both the Brevet and IGCSE English Literature and Language as well as the International Option of the Baccalaureate. Furthermore, I did the equivalent of a Spanish A level, which has, yet again, taught me how difficult it is to learn another language.
I believe I will be the perfect tutor as I love helping and teaching people, especially when I comes to languages, as I believe it is crucial to understand multiple languages in this Morden-day world as it can only be beneficial for you in the future.

My approach to teaching French is to get a grasp of your level and build up from there: starting with speaking and reading allowing me to understand where you can improve. From there we can find out whether me speaking in French throughout lessons is your preferred method or if it is more beneficial to take it slow. A typical lesson will be 1 hour long, helping you with homework, your accent and your French overall. I have tutoring experience and am willing to teach students of any level learning French as a second language. Moreover, I will ask questions on what we have learnt previously to ensure that the learning method is functioning.
