About Riyaan
Hi! My name is Riyaan and I am a second year student reading Economics at Cambridge. Prior to university, I achieved 4A*s at A-Level in Maths, Further Maths, Economics, and Chemistry, as well as an A* in the Extended Project. I was also awarded the prize for the best academic performance in my school. In addition, I managed to achieve 11 level 9s at GCSE. I am therefore able to tutor any level of maths and economics to students and help them approach difficult concepts and be prepared for exams! I will deconstruct any topic or question in order to help you understand it from its fundamentals.
I love studying economics because of it’s real world applications and its prevalence in current issues that we are facing. Combined with maths, this provides a way I can train my problem-solving nature! I believe my passion will overflow into the lessons that I teach, and I will help you find a similar passion for these subjects! I will ensure constant improvements for my students by critically reviewing questions they are struggling with and providing model exam answers as well as explanations for the intuition of these results. I will be able to work with students at any level and help them grasp these confusing concepts.

I will truly seek to understand where your strengths and weaknesses lie by asking probing questions, going through sample questions material together, explaining certain concepts in greater depth, and assessing you based on pre-prepared questions with model answers. Lessons can be however long or short you want, but I would recommend having an hour per lesson. I have tutored many students in A-level and GCSE Economics and can teach maths at any school level.
