About Vanessa

My name is Dr Vanessa Darmos and I have completed studying direct entry medicine and graduated with a 99.75 atar. I am passionate about helping people achieve their potential and teaching in a way that is unique to them. I struggled in high school because there was very few people that believed that I could achieve my goals. I aim to make sure that all of my students understand that with hard work they can achieve anything that they put their mind to.

About the lesson

My maths teaching technique highly depends on type of learner I am teaching. I spend the first few sessions getting to know my student and their learning type and then I like to plan the way that they would like to tackle the lessons. I understand that maths can come very easily to some and be more difficult for others so the speed in which I teach is entirely tailored to my student. I teach all ages up until year 10 and the IB AA SL program in years 11 and 12.
