About Dev
My name is Dev and I am a high school senior. I have a number of accolades in the field of mathematics and I want to help students succeed. I come from a small town in Illinois, so I had limited resources and had to teach myself many topics. In doing so, I developed a comprehensive study method and I hope that I can share it with you.

As your tutor, I will create a unique, personalized study plan for you. I will help you look through your strengths and weaknesses, and analyze what you need to spend time on, and what you are already good at. As a student myself, I know what middle and high - school students need. A typical session with me will start with questions about what I have asked you to review. We then go into what concepts are behind what you were struggling then. Then, we will do some practice problems, as I believe that the best way to learn is through doing things yourself. One of the things that sets me apart from other tutors is that I like to use the Feynman technique. This technique allows my students the opportunity to try to teach me the material, providing them with a deeper understanding of the material.
