Hello, I'm Ted. Originally from the sunny and happy Cape Town, I recently moved to Johannesburg. I miss the beach, forest, and mountains, but a little reminder of home outside my teaching window keeps me grounded. I'm very creative, love chatting over tea, and embrace all walks of life with an open mind. I value community and Ubuntu deeply.
When speaking Afrikaans, it's not just about the words you use; passion in your voice is key. Afrikaans, like Japanese, is an expressive language where words carry profound meaning. Even a little can convey much. Expressing happiness is heightened in Afrikaans. Come learn the authentic way!
