Hello students!
I'm a passionate and compassionate individual who has always found joy in helping others. Throughout my academic journey, I've often been the go-to person for fellow students seeking assistance. My educational background is rooted in my first love, Medical Science, and I hold an MSc degree in the field.
During my academic pursuits, I had the privilege of serving as a teaching assistant at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, where I was involved in teaching Physics and Food Microbiology. This experience was incredibly rewarding, and I discovered a deep-seated love for teaching and interacting with students. It became evident to me how much I enjoy contributing to the learning experiences of others.
Being a teaching assistant allowed me to witness the transformative power of education. Not only did I have the opportunity to impart knowledge, but I also learned and grew immensely through the process. This realization has fueled my passion for education, and I am excited about the prospect of continuing this journey with you all.

Welkom by my Afrikaanse lesse!
In hierdie aanbieding gebruik ek 'n kombinasie van leer, herhaal, en opsom metodes. Ek is tweetalig, maar Afrikaans is my moedertaal. My onderrigbenadering behels 'n oorsig van die te behandelen les, die les self, en dan die geleentheid vir vrae en terugvoering.
Ek glo daarin om my lesse op 'n unieke manier aan te bied, waar ek die inhoud aanpas volgens elke student se begripsvlak. Of jy 'n beginner is of reeds 'n gevorderde Afrikaanse spreker, ek wil die lesse aanpas om aan jou spesifieke behoeftes te voldoen. Die lesse kan gestruktureerd wees vir 'n meer formele benadering, of dit kan gebaseer wees op geselskap vir 'n meer informele leeromgewing.
Hierdie kursus is gerig op laerskool, hoërskool studente, en volwassenes wat hul Afrikaanse vaardighede wil verbeter. Ek sien daarna uit om saam met jou te leer en te groei in die Afrikaanse taal!
Welcome to my Afrikaans lessons! In this course, I employ a combination of learning, repetition, and summarization methods. I am bilingual, but Afrikaans is my mother tongue. My teaching approach involves an overview of the lesson to be covered, the lesson itself, and then the opportunity for questions and feedback.
I believe in tailoring my lessons in a unique way, adjusting the content according to each student's level of understanding. Whether you are a beginner or already an advanced Afrikaans speaker, I aim to customize the lessons to meet your specific needs. The lessons can be structured for a more formal approach or be conversation-based for a more informal learning environment.
This course is aimed at elementary school, high school students, and adults looking to enhance their existing knowledge of Afrikaans. I look forward to learning and growing together with you in the Afrikaans language!
