About Cheranie
I am a proud South African with a deep love for my country, my culture, and especially my language.
Afrikaans is more than just a language to me — it is history, identity, expression, and connection. It is a uniquely South African language, shaped by diverse communities, rich stories, and generations of resilience. I believe it deserves to be understood, appreciated, and spoken with confidence.
My passion lies in helping more people discover the beauty of Afrikaans — not through pressure or performance, but through understanding, patience, and encouragement. I know that learning a language can feel intimidating, especially if you are introverted or struggle with anxiety. That’s why I am committed to creating a calm, supportive space where growth feels safe.
I want more people to experience the joy of speaking Afrikaans without fear — to feel proud using it, whether in conversation, at school, at work, or in everyday life.
This is more than teaching a language.
