About John

You are tired of searching for your words, of always repeating the same mistakes, of never really knowing which tense to use and when, of not being able to intervene during an important meeting because you lack understanding and fluency, and we overlooks you during promotions because you give the impression of lacking leadership? Well, I'm here to help you. As a native Australian with over 15 years of experience in professional English training, I offer English courses adapted to your level and needs. Whether you are in high school or preparing for a job interview, I will teach you how the English language works, its grammar, and I will make you do exercises aimed at enriching your vocabulary. So, at your next job interview, when your potential employer asks “tell me about yourself,” you will no longer be caught off guard and paralyzed by uncertainty.

Depending on the level and needs of the student, my lessons are generally structured around 4 components:
Grammar: Making sure you have a solid foundation on which to rebuild your language like a true English speaker.
Vocabulary expansion: Learn new words, then learn how to put them into a sentence. The more words you know, the more comfortable you will feel when speaking.
Comprehension: Audio exercises with different English accents, emphasizing learning new nouns, verbs, phrasal verb expressions, etc.
Conversation: Let's talk, let's discuss. If you have to make a mistake, it's better to make it with me than in a job interview or presentation.
All my courses can also be personalized and adapted to the needs of the student. No matter what your gaps are, I am here to fill them.
And finally, let's have fun! Learning a language also means discovering another culture. It doesn't have to be like school. These lessons should be something you actually, look forward to. Not a chore.
