About Nora
I am a native Turkish speaker, bilingual in both English and Turkish. I was raised in London but I have moved to Turkey after completing my masters degree with a Distinction in Financial Law after graduating with a 2:1 in law and have been living here since 2015. I am a qualified lawyer and currently working as an in-house legal counsel at one of the world's largest state owned oil & gas companies in Istanbul.
Turkish is my mother-tongue, growing up I would always read Turkish authors as well as many world classics in their Turkish translation. Many people are often surprised to find out that I grew up in London, since my Turkish is very fluent with no influence of foreign accent. I have previously tutored young kids and adults in learning the Turkish language.
