• 1) When and why did you develop an interest in your field?

  I’ve always loved languages and sharing cultures. My interest in teaching Chinese grew during my time at Zhejiang University, where I realized how rewarding it is to help non-native speakers understand Mandarin and Chinese culture.

• 2) What makes you passionate about your subject?

  I enjoy seeing students gain confidence in speaking, reading, and understanding Mandarin. Chinese is fascinating, rich in history, and practical in today’s world, which makes teaching it very inspiring for me.

• 3) What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?

  I love creating lessons tailored to each student. I use movies, music, and real-life conversations to make learning fun and engaging. My native pronunciation, academic background, and patient teaching style help students stay motivated and make real progress.

  One of my professors at Zhejiang University inspired me with their clear, enthusiastic, and encouraging teaching style. I try to bring the same energy and clarity to my own lessons.
