About Rie
Hello, I'm Rie! I'm a native English speaker from Nottingham, U.K. and I am a Level 5 certified TEFL teacher. I have 3 years of experience teaching across Japan, South Korea, Cambodia, Germany and Austria. I have taught students from age 6-60, beginner up to advanced level and with more than 20 nationalities!
I love helping people, and that includes helping people to learn English! I have a passion for travelling and meeting people from all around the world. I believe you can learn so much from other people and cultures.
I really care about my students, and want to give them the best learning experience. That means I try to personalise my lessons to students' abilities and needs. I hope to inspire you to be confident in speaking English, so that you can communicate with anyone in the World!

- I specialise in British English and conversation. We learn languages to help us communicate, so my focus is on speaking and listening. Conversation practice is KEY in being able to communicate in English!
- Cultural exchange - Through learning English, your ability to connect with people from around the world will grow! In my lessons, I like to focus on topics and material that will develop our learning about new cultures too.
