About Mia
Hey there! My name is Mia and my biggest passion is languages: I love both learning and teaching them!
I am originally from Barcelona, where I spent my university years helping the many foreign students who came to study in the city to familiarise themselves with the languages of the country (Spanish and Catalan). I then moved to England where I worked as a Teaching Assistant of Spanish at a secondary school. Therefore, whether you are an adult or a kid I would be more than happy to teach you.
I also speak French, Italian and Portuguese, all of which I learned by myself, so I know that the most important (and usually hardest) factor in achieving fluency in any language is speaking at the earliest opportunity. For this reason, my classes have a strong focus on the conversational part of the language, through which you will see a rapid improvement in all the other aspects.

Let's keep it simple. When you book a lesson with me, this is what you can expect: Your learning goals come first! My lessons are designed to improve your productive skills (speaking the language) as much as your receptive skills (understanding the language), always relevant to your level, objectives, and interests. Also, at the end of each lesson, we will go through the points that were good and those that need to be worked on so that you can become fluent in Catalan as soon as possible!
