About Valeria
My name is Valeria, I am fluent in Catalan, Spanish and English. I give conversation lessons in the three languages. I also give reinforcement classes. My lessons are aimed at children of Primary and ESO. I have a degree in Audiovisual Communication. I have a B2 certificate in English and I am able to communicate in that language fluently. I have been giving reinforcement classes for three years, to a teenager who was studying ESO. I have always been a great reader, which has made me even more familiar with the three languages. In addition to paid tutoring, I have helped my sister with her homework, as well as been in contact with different cultures in an exchange program.

My method is active listening and adaptation. I like my students to feel comfortable in my classes and with the enough confidence to tell me about possible improvements. I am human and I also make mistakes, so I am not in favor of penalizing failures. I believe that the essence of my conversation classes is collaboration: I always like to discuss and chat about topics that are of interest to the student, to awaken their motivation to learn. At the same time, I mix it with the incorporation of vocabulary and a correct use of syntax.
