About Ivan
I was born and raised in Croatia, where my love for language and connection began. Life soon took me on quite a journey — from working at sea and meeting people from all over the world to studying abroad and eventually settling in North America. These experiences shaped the way I teach: open-minded, adaptable, and focused on real communication. I know what it’s like to learn and live in another language, so I always create a supportive and relaxed space for my students. My lessons are about more than just vocabulary and grammar — they’re about helping you feel the language, understand the culture, and speak with confidence. Whether you’re learning Croatian for travel, heritage, or curiosity, I’ll guide you step by step and make sure you enjoy the process.
