About Denise

I am currently a master's student at Melbourne University. Last year I graduated from my BSc Economics (Honors) in 1st place and I have a real passion for Economics and tutoring. It brings me such joy to see when students I have helped, succeed. I have tutored a variety of individuals to know that everyone learns differently and my approach is centered around this idea.

About the lesson

Lessons are engineered towards what the individual students purpose is. For example, i currently help tutor individuals practicing for english exams; IELTS and TOEFL as well as foreigners just trying to improve their english speaking and listening abilities (including those who especially want some practice with an Australian accent).

Denise was extremely patient with me and always adapted the lesson when she noticed I had gaps in my foundation. I TRULY feel confident in Maths now and not even just Further Maths(what I received tutoring for) but Maths in general. I now know how I can approach a question I have never seen before and I am no longer making simple mistakes or getting stuck/frustrated on a question!!! So thankful!

Denise was extremely patient with me and always adapted the lesson when she noticed I had gaps in my foundation. I TRULY feel confident in Maths now and not even just Further Maths(what I received tutoring for) but Maths in general. Denise was an extremely attentive tutor. I was taking intermediate microeconomics and was so lost because i hadn't learnt principles of microeconomics well enough. She was really patient with me and at the same time concise, we were able to go fast enough to cover my missing knowledge and catch up with the current subject AND i even got a 92 on the final!
