About Charlotte Louise
I am completely bilingual and a native speaker of both French & English, having lived in both countries and able to understand both cultures perfectly. I have been self-employed as an English and French teacher for the past five years, working with a wide range of learners in schools, online, and in-person settings. I teach both children and adults, from complete beginners to intermediate and advanced students, as well as professionals looking to improve their business English. Over the years, I have developed a flexible and student-centered approach, adapting each lesson to individual goals and learning styles. My experience across different environments has allowed me to build strong communication skills and create engaging, dynamic lessons that help students gain confidence and fluency in a natural and practical way.
I am also a certified TEFL and TESOL teacher, which has provided me with a strong foundation in language teaching methodology, lesson planning, and classroom management. These qualifications have helped me refine my approach to teaching English as a foreign language, ensuring that my lessons are structured, effective, and tailored to the needs of each student. Combined with my five years of experience, my certification supports my ability to teach learners of all levels in a clear, engaging, and professional way, both online and in person.

Hello! My name is Charlotte, and I am a qualified English and French teacher with over 5 years of experience teaching both online and in person.
I am a native English speaker, born in England, and I hold a teaching certificate. I also have dual nationality, as I lived and studied in France for over 10 years, which means I am fully fluent and native-level in French as well.
I teach English and French to a wide range of learners, including beginners, intermediate students, and professionals looking to improve their business or workplace communication. Over the years, I have built a strong base of regular students and received many positive recommendations from my clients.
My teaching approach is different from traditional methods. I focus on creating dynamic, engaging, and confidence-building lessons that are fully tailored to each student’s needs. I believe that learning a language should be enjoyable, practical, and motivating — and I always aim to make my students feel comfortable, supported, and confident when speaking.
I am a very positive and enthusiastic teacher, and I love building friendly and encouraging relationships with my students. My lessons are always interactive, relaxed, and adapted to your goals.
Outside of teaching, I love travelling, baking, food, and meeting new people. I bring this curiosity and energy into my lessons to make learning more engaging and real.
