I am a university student in Philology and have been offering tutoring and classes in both English and Spanish since I was 16 years old. The knowledge of philology helps me to have a deep understanding of the functioning of language and language. For this reason, I like to focus the teaching of the language towards a fluent use like that of a native, but at the same time as correct as possible. Speaking like a native implies not only mastering the correct usage, but it also means mastering the language itself enough to know the mistakes. My goal is for you to be able to watch a series in English or speak to a native speaker and know how to use the different registers (formal, colloquial, standard), identify a word game, incorrect use, create a word game yourself, etc. just like you do with your mother tongue, because that means you master the language. For this, I consider it necessary to make my students aware of all the forms and contexts of speech. The best method to learn a language is a dynamic one, and for this the most effective is to develop oral and written skills complementing them with the necessary knowledge of grammar and syntax. I want to convey that learning a language is not a classic study, but learning a language is an experience that can easily be made fun and enjoyable.
