About Adam

My name is Adam and I am a university lecturer with a strong academic background and a passion for teaching. I have a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Anglia Ruskin University in the UK. Although my academic focus was engineering, my time studying, living and working in the UK has given me invaluable insight into the English language and culture.

As a CELTA certified instructor, I have undergone professional training to effectively teach English to non-native speakers. This certification, combined with my years of teaching experience at university level, equips me with the skills to deliver high-quality, engaging and goal-oriented lessons.

What sets me apart as an English teacher is my personalized approach. I understand that each student has unique needs and goals, whether it’s improving conversational skills, mastering academic English, or preparing for business communication. I tailor my lessons to meet these needs, ensuring that each session is focused, practical, and aligned with your goals. My experience working in a professional environment also means I can help you navigate the nuances of English in both academic and work environments.

About the lesson

In my classes, we will focus on all the essential aspects of the English language, as each of them plays a vital role in achieving fluency and confidence. Here’s how we will cover these aspects and why they are important:

Grammar: A solid understanding of grammar is the backbone of effective communication. It ensures that your sentences are clear and correct. By focusing on grammar in class, you will learn to construct sentences accurately, making it easier to express yourself clearly in any situation.

Vocabulary: Vocabulary is the building block of any language. The more words you know, the better you can articulate your thoughts and understand others. By focusing on specific vocabulary that is relevant to your goals—whether for business, academic purposes, or casual conversation—you will increase your ability to communicate effectively and appropriately.

Pronunciation: Pronunciation is essential to being understood. Clear pronunciation helps you connect with others without the barrier of miscommunication. In our classes, practicing pronunciation will not only boost your confidence but will also ensure that you leave a good impression in both professional and social settings.

Speaking: Speaking fluently is often the ultimate goal for English learners. It allows you to communicate your ideas, share your opinions, and interact with others effectively.
