About Mike
I have a degree in English Literature, a diploma in Broadcast Journalism and more than a decade of work experience in journalism in the London, Ontario area. I am a certified ESL teacher with both a TESOL Canada certificate and a TESL Ontario diploma. I love the English language and love to share my knowledge with others.

My goal is to engage students (aged 12 - 70) in English-language conversations about topics that interest them. I like to have an ongoing conversation with my students throughout my classes. My lessons are designed to appeal to specific students or specific groups of students. If a student believes that grammar is not important, I will teach very little grammar. I am happy to visit your home for my lessons.
