About Anna
Hello! My name is Anna Marie and I love to teach! I also love to learn and believe in lifelong learning! I was born and raised in Southern California, just north of Los Angeles. I am a 5th generation Californian and my family has been here for well over 150 years! I have found my niche in teaching adults who want to learn English. I would love to meet you and talk to you to see what it is you want to learn. I plan to have a beginning English class, an intermediate English class and possibly just a conversation class if there is a need for it. Class sizes will range from 4 to 10 students. I hope to meet you soon!

I use a combination of teaching strategies in a typical 45-minute lesson. I work with all learning levels. We will cover a wide variety of topics in each lesson. We will practice speaking, proper word pronunciation, learning verb conjugations and how to use them. In addition to what was already listed, more advanced students will practice reading and comprehension, writing and refining their language skills for their jobs. I speak some Spanish so I can help with how similar or dissimilar letter sounds are pronounced in each language. I hope to see you soon!
