About Kathleen
My several years of working among middle schoolers, many of whom participated in ESL classes, gave me practical experience with not only teaching American History but also helping them to hone their English language skills. My background in Master's - level Theology programs gave me the edge in applying critical reading/writing skills and helping students improve theirs. Rudiments such as parts of speech are often mis-used, prepositions, for example. And if their proper use can be obtained it makes students writing so much clearer.

Completed 2 Masters, Theology, Grand Canyon University in 5.5 years high GPA. Also taught 7th gr History in for 2 years as a substitute teacher in public schools. I like to ask questions and see where that takes me. Consequently, reading has always been a passion for me. It opens doors and take one where they'd never otherwise dreamed of going. Is it perhaps literally travelling the continents! Or writing stories of the like? Certainly making new friendhips. Learning a new language means across cultures learning. This can open new doors of intercultural communication in discovery of new goals, products, inventions, technologies and medicines across varying disciplines.
Learning the English language is exchange of cultural identification as well, so both cultures can be better appreciated and enriched. Meeting others with these goals is an enrichment to all.
