Hi, I’m Ty! I’m a native English speaker with experience helping people from all over the world improve their English in practical, everyday situations. Hi, I’m Ty! My approach to tutoring is relaxed, practical, and focused on real-life English that students can use every day. I believe the best way to learn a language is through conversation, examples, and consistent practice, rather than just memorizing grammar rules.
In my lessons, I focus on listening, speaking, pronunciation, and everyday vocabulary. I adapt my teaching to each student’s goals and learning style, whether that’s improving fluency, gaining confidence in speaking, preparing for travel, or understanding casual and professional English. I often use conversation practice, role-play, and personalized exercises to make the lessons interactive and engaging.
A typical lesson lasts around 25–30 minutes, but I am flexible depending on what works best for the student. I have experience communicating with people from different countries and backgrounds, which helps me connect and explain concepts clearly.
