About Nghia
Hello! My name is Nghia, I am a university student and a native English speaker who loves helping people gain confidence speaking English. While I haven’t formally taught English in a classroom, I have experience working with children in preschool and as a summer camp counselor, where I guided and supported students in learning and communicating effectively. I have also traveled extensively, which has given me many opportunities to help people practice English in real-life situations. I enjoy informal teaching and conversation, helping learners feel comfortable speaking and improving their pronunciation, vocabulary, and fluency. My lessons are friendly, relaxed, and personalized to each student’s goals. Whether you want to improve everyday conversation, travel English, slang and phrases or just feel more confident speaking, I will support you every step of the way.

As a tutor, my teaching approach is student-centered, flexible, and supportive. Having been a language student myself, I understand the challenges learners face and adapt my methods with patience and empathy. I use clear explanations, practical examples, guided practice, and regular feedback to help students build confidence in speaking and long-term understanding.
A typical lesson starts with setting clear goals, followed by explanations, interactive exercises, and a short recap. What sets me apart is my ability to simplify complex concepts and tailor lessons to each learner and my focus on building confidence to speak and communicate.
My lessons are for learners of all ages, typically for more beginner and intermediate students, including academic support, exam preparation, and skill improvement.
