About Joey
It's a pleasure to meet you! I'm Joey. I'm a native speaker of both English and Chinese, and I can also communicate with Malay fairly well, so you don't have to worry about any language barriers with me. I've always enjoyed teaching others (peers, juniors, etc.), since it brings me joy to be able to help out others when they need it, so I hope that I'll be able to use my skills to unlock your full potential in the language. Sometimes, it just takes a slight push to ascend to greater heights.

I've been a native English speaker and user for my entire life. To me, learning a language isn't just about scoring tests and getting good grades, it's also about practical application, as well as getting to know and familiarizing yourself with the language.
I don't have a lot of experience as a tutor, however, I will try my best to work out what style suits you the best, and help you to the best of my abilities, by making the lessons engaging and interactive. It's always a learning process for both the student and the tutor, so I will also be growing along side the students.
The length of a lesson can vary and be discussed with the student. My lessons are generally for ages 7-15, but SPM (16-17) is also fine.
