About Farbod
Hello, my name is Farbod. I am a native English speaker currently based in Lyon, France, with an IELTS score of 9 and a C1 level in French. I am currently studying computer science while also working on personal and professional projects in Game Development.
I enjoy helping students improve their confidence and fluency in English through clear explanations, practical conversation, and supportive lessons adapted to each student’s level and goals. I am patient, adaptable, and comfortable working with both beginners and more advanced learners.
Outside of teaching, I am interested in technology, languages, music, fitness, and video games, which allows me to connect easily with students from different backgrounds and interests.

My teaching approach focuses on building confidence, improving communication skills, and adapting lessons to each student’s goals and learning style. Whether you want to improve conversational English, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, or academic English, I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing and make progress.
A typical lesson usually begins with a short discussion or review of previous material, followed by focused exercises targeting speaking, listening, grammar, or vocabulary depending on the student’s needs. I also include conversation practice and practical examples to help students use English naturally and confidently in real situations.
