About Kimon

Hi! I'm a 21-year-old native English speaker who grew up in Singapore - a place where you could end almost every sentence with "lah" (but don't worry, I won't teach you that).

In addition to my hobbies such as motorcycling, snowboarding and diving, I have a great passion for passing on knowledge. For me, English is not just a language, but a bridge to new cultures, opportunities and stories. I want to show you that learning English doesn't have to be boring, but can be fun and motivating!

My goal is not only to teach you grammar and pronunciation, but also to give you the confidence to use the language in your everyday life. Together we will design the lessons so that you feel comfortable and get a little better each time.

About the lesson

My teaching methods and approach

1. Teaching techniques and methods:
My focus is on practical, interactive learning. I combine traditional methods such as grammar and vocabulary exercises with modern approaches, e.g. through conversations, role plays and situational learning. The content is individually adapted to the needs and goals of the students.

2. Typical course of a lesson:
- Introduction: Short repetition of the last lesson and clarification of open questions (approx. 5 minutes).
- Main part: teaching new content or working on specific tasks, e.g. through discussions, text analyses or language exercises (approx. 35 minutes).
- Conclusion: Summary and feedback with homework suggestions or practice tips (approx. 10 minutes).

3. Special features as a teacher:
As a native speaker with an international background and experience in an English-speaking environment (childhood in Singapore), I bring not only linguistic knowledge but also cultural competence. I am patient, flexible and keen to make the lessons varied and motivating. I also help to perfect pronunciation and grammar.

4. Target group:
My lessons are aimed at students and adults of all ages who want to improve their English skills. Whether it's basic (A1-A2) or intermediate (B1-B2), I offer support with conversation, grammar and pronunciation.
