About Wildon
When I was very young I had a speech impediment which through theater and private tutoring I was able to overcome. I went on to act in many plays, some of which I wrote, as well as become a stage manager and handle lighting and audio. When I was in college I also wrote press releases which were posted online or read on TV by department heads. I believe that everyone can learn to be charismatic in front of large audiences even if they are uncomfortable to begin with. I have also watched others who had similar struggles to mine, grow into becoming people who can now handle large crowds without any signs of their previous limitations. These are life skills, as a young adult will need them for school, interviews, and possibly the rest of their career. Regardless of the size of the audience, being comfortable addressing new people is a crucial skill to have for school presentations, landing a good job, and for advancing one’s career. My experience in theater, Public Relations, and Event Planning has given me a good skill set for improving a student’s speaking ability and confidence.

Hello my name is Wildon I took AP Literature and AP Composition in High School, as well as some writing and literature classes in College. I also was a stage manager and performed in many plays and skits. While I was in college I took several Public Relations related roles where I wrote speeches for televised press conferences at the Maricopa County Department of Transportation in Arizona. I also worked for an entertainment company in Los Angeles, where we did some movie sets and production events.
I use a combination of theater techniques to make someone very comfortable speaking publicly, and I try to expand students' vocabularies while they learn. I can also help with spelling and grammar. I find that theater techniques can immensely help people have the confidence to speak to crowds. With some practice students can become comfortable speaking in front of any size audience, from leading a business meeting to being on the news, they will be confident that they can enunciate properly and convey their thoughts.
Length of lessons are roughly half an hour, but they can be longer or shorter depending on the needs of the student. I recommend my services for students ages 12 and up, however, I think my experience is tailored to teenagers, young adults, and perhaps some older adults who are moving up in their jobs who lack the public speaking experience to lead business meetings.
