About Liam
Born and raised in Canada, I am a native English teacher, fluent in Brazilian Portuguese and TEFL certified. I have been teaching English since 2023.
I learned Portuguese as an adult, so I know what it’s like to understand a language but get stuck when it’s time to speak. I also understand the specific difficulties Portuguese speakers often have with English, especially pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary.
My goal is to help you move from “I understand English, but I can’t speak it” to communicating more naturally and confidently.
