About Joseph
Hello my name is Teacher Jo, I am a qualified teacher from England with over 15 years of international teaching experience across China, Thailand, and Vietnam. Throughout my career, I have worked with a wide range of age groups and delivered learning through diverse curricula, including Cambridge, EYFS, and Montessori approaches. My passion lies in Early Years education, particularly in supporting young learners as they develop strong foundations in phonics and early reading.
I have extensive experience using programmes such as Read Write Inc. and Jolly Phonics, and have also designed and implemented bespoke phonics programmes for several preschools. I believe that children learn best when they are actively engaged, so I bring creativity into my lessons by weaving phonics into art, music, and hands-on activities that make learning both meaningful and enjoyable.
