About Erick
I've been teaching English for over 6 years at the institutional level and now as a freelance English teacher. I am passionate about teaching, working with my students to develop a plan that involves their interests and goals, building their confidence so they can speak as freely as possible. During these years I have specialized in working with Latin American students, being a native Spanish speaker as well, and knowing full-well the problems and common mistakes they make while learning English. My method is based on real-world conversations and mimics the way infants learn their mother tongue: listening, repeating, making mistakes, correcting them, and then speaking well. I encourage my students to learn to make mistakes and give up that fear of speaking English. The sooner they do, the sooner they begin to see results, and the sooner they start to think and speak in English without even trying.
