About Elizabeth
Hello! My name is Elizabeth, and I’m a dedicated preschool and early-English tutor with several years of hands-on childcare and teaching experience. I’ve worked as a nanny, babysitter, and stay-at-home parent, which has given me real-world skills in early childhood development, creating fun learning activities, and helping young children feel safe and confident while they learn. I’m trained in Child Abuse Prevention, CPR certified, and currently completing a 120-hour TEFL certification, which strengthens my ability to teach English to young learners online. I specialize in making lessons simple, engaging, and age-appropriate using songs, stories, games, and colorful visuals. As a tutor, families describe me as patient, kind, encouraging, and structured. I make sure every child feels supported, understood, and excited to learn — no matter their level of English. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where children can grow at their own pace while still having fun. I look forward to meeting your child and helping them build strong early English and preschool foundations through interactive, playful, and meaningful lessons!

Hello, My teaching style is a little different — I teach English using fun, preschool-style basics that help young learners stay engaged and excited. I use games, videos, flashcards, read-alouds, songs, and simple activities to build confidence in English naturally. A typical lesson with me includes: • A warm introduction so I can get to know my student and understand their English level (even beginners are welcome). • Flashcards and visual learning for letters, shapes, numbers, colors, and simple vocabulary. • A “circle time” section where we read a book together, talk about the weather, and play interactive learning games. • A virtual worksheet or activity that reinforces the new words we learned. • Lots of encouragement, patience, and fun! What makes me different as a tutor is my dedication to making learning stress-free, supportive, and interactive. I always go at my student's pace and make sure they feel comfortable while still learning effectively. I also love sending parents helpful worksheets, links, and videos my students can use outside of class. My lessons are perfect for young learners ages 1–8, but anyone is welcome to join. I look forward to helping your child grow, learn, and have fun with English!
