About Alice
I am a passionate language learner and teacher. I'm also interested in sewing, knitting, yoga, running and cycling. I studied English Literature at university and am an avid reader to this day.
I speak Spanish fluently, have an intermediate level in French and am currently studying Polish (A1 level).

I have over 10 years' experience teaching conversation, pronunciation, exam preparation, business English, vocabulary and grammar. I am a CELTA qualified language teacher (Cambridge University, 2013) with the highest possible grade (A), and also hold a BA in English Literature from Newcastle University (2005).
I have taught in a range of language academies in the UK (Brighton) and more recently in Spain, (Granada). For the past two years I have been developing my own resources and teaching materials for online classes. I now teach solely online.
My classes are 60 minutes long and are always tailored to each student's needs and requirements. I use interactive materials, books, texts, imagery, audio and video to teach in a dynamic and lively way which relates the language to the real world.
I am experienced teaching all levels of English from complete beginners to C2. I can also help you with writing corrections and editing for work or studies. My teaching style is above all flexible and tailored to the student. Whatever you need, I will do my best to provide it!
I love teaching and am passionate about my subject, and as I am also a language learner, I understand the challenges you may be facing. I've studied French (B1), Spanish to fluency level and I am currently learning Polish (A1).
