About Ander
Hi! I am a master's student at the University of the Basque Country. I have a BA in Philosophy with International Relations from the University of Sussex (2020). I offer English classes. I am half American, so English is one of my mother tongues in addition to Spanish and Basque. I speak fluent French (DELF B2) and conversational Russian (looking for someone to practice with!). I also offer to teach philosophy and history of philosophy at the secondary education and baccalaureate level.

The first class I get to know my student, I determine their skills and level. When teaching English I try to keep the classes dynamic and conversational, working on practical, everyday English, helping to improve pronunciation and fluidity. Written English is counterintuitive, and I have seen that many students are mislead by this, which results in trouble in pronunciation. For this reason, I give priority to the student's understanding the phonemes and rhythm of English, since the grammar will come much more naturally when they have acquired these skills.
