French Lesson Plan (From zero to hero)
**1. Introduction to the language**
Start with the basics of French pronunciation, the alphabet, and common sounds. Introduce very simple words like *hello, thank you, yes, no* to help the learner get familiar with the language.
**2. Basic vocabulary building**
Teach essential everyday words and expressions. Focus on high-frequency vocabulary that is useful in daily life.
**3. Simple sentence formation**
Introduce short and practical sentences such as introducing oneself, asking simple questions, and giving basic personal information (name, age, where you live). Example: *My name is…, I live in…, How are you?*
**4. Listening and speaking practice**
Encourage early speaking practice, even with mistakes. Use simple dialogues, slow audio, songs, or beginner videos to improve listening comprehension and pronunciation.
**5. Basic grammar introduction**
Gradually introduce fundamental grammar concepts such as articles, the verbs *to be* and *to have*, and present tense regular verbs. Always teach grammar in context with examples.
**6. Practice and consistency**
Emphasize daily practice, even for a short time. Encourage using French in simple real-life situations to build confidence and fluency over time.
