About Philippe
I am a recently-graduated (May 2020) student from Miami, Florida. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Kenyon College. My father is American, and my mother is French. I grew up going to French schools until college.
Given my dual-nationality, I took advantage of my free time during college by serving as a Teaching Assistant for introductory French classes. Over the course of my two years in this role, I taught 60-70 lessons to anywhere between 3 and 10 students, usually lasting 50 mins each.

My teaching method is primarily based around personalized learning. I make sure to listen to students so that I can truly understand the questions they mean to ask. This way, the communication between teacher and student becomes much easier.
While I have historically tended to follow a textbook, the direction of my class isn't always so structurally "linear." I include external exercises and games to make my lessons as active as possible.
