About Misol
Hi, I’m Hime! I was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan, and Japanese is my native language. I moved to Seattle and have been happily sharing my love of Japanese language and culture ever since!
I have been tutoring Japanese to children for about 6 months, and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I genuinely love seeing kids get excited about learning Japanese — those little moments when everything clicks are the best!
When I’m not teaching, you can find me cooking Japanese food, trying new restaurants, or dancing! I love bringing that same energy and passion into my lessons to keep things fun and lively.
I truly believe that language is a gateway to culture, and I can’t wait to bring a little piece of Tokyo into your child’s life. Let’s learn Japanese together!
