About Yuka
Living abroad and learning English myself completely shifted my perspective. It made me realise that learning a new language isn't just about memorising vocabulary or studying grammar—it’s an exciting doorway to a whole new world!
Learning even a few words of another language opens up wonderful connections, deeper cultural understanding, and new ways of seeing the world.
That’s why I want to help others experience that same excitement through Japanese. Rather than strict "studying," I want my lessons to feel like a fun journey where you discover new ideas, connect with a new culture, and enjoy natural conversations!

I focus on practical, natural, and enjoyable Japanese! Instead of just memorising textbook grammar, we will practise real-life conversations that you can actually use. Thanks to my background in the hospitality industry, I can teach you natural phrasing, polite expressions, and everyday Japanese used in cafes and restaurants.
My lessons are interactive and relaxed, creating a comfortable space where you can speak without fear of making mistakes.
Typical Lesson Structure (50–60 Minutes):
Warm-up (5–10 mins): Casual chat to break the ice and review previous topics.
Main Topic (35–40 mins): Interactive conversation or travel/culture phrase practice tailored to your goals.
Feedback & Q&A (5–10 mins): Useful feedback, vocabulary review, and answering any questions you have.
Levels: Absolute Beginners to Intermediate learners.
Ideal for those who want to:
Learn conversational Japanese for travel or daily life.
Practise speaking naturally with a friendly native speaker.
