About Tak
A former IT engineer from Japan with a master’s degree from a university in Sydney. As a former volunteer Japanese teacher, I provide tailored sessions to help you confidently use Japanese in business, academic, and everyday contexts. If you're new to Japanese, I can explain concepts in English and recommend materials suited to your level.

Lesson Length: 1 hour
My sessions focus on output skills like speaking and writing, as these are also the most effective ways to improve input skills such as reading and listening.
If you don’t have a specific plan, our sessions will include Japanese conversation practice and journal reviews to enhance your speaking and writing abilities. Before each session, I kindly ask you to write a short journal in Japanese, consisting of just a few sentences.
If you have specific materials or plans you'd like to use, please share them with me in advance so I can review them and prepare accordingly.
