About Alejandra
I grew up in Colombia and moved to the USA when I was 15 years old. Due to this, I understand how difficult and intimidating it can be to go through the process of becoming fluent in another language, but I also know how rewarding it can be to realize that your knowledge has grown. I am a patient and friendly person who believes practicing and communicating is the best way to become comfortable in a tongue different from your own.

Languages can be intimidating to learn, because of this the best way to approach them is surrounding yourself in them in a low-stress environment. In my lessons, we will have conversations and discussions in Spanish with topics that will be friendly to your current Spanish level. During these sessions, we will aim to speak the least English possible, and to find different ways to communicate in Spanish even when you do not know the right word. This way, we will build confidence, vocabulary, and understanding gradually.
