About Ameera
Hello! I'm Ameera, a native Malayalam speaker from Kerala, India, and I have loved the Malayalam language from a very young age. I studied Malayalam throughout my school education and scored 99/100 in Malayalam in my Higher Secondary examination.
Malayalam is more than just a subject for me. I genuinely enjoy reading, writing and expressing myself in Malayalam, and I especially love writing Malayalam poems. This personal connection with the language is one of the reasons I enjoy teaching it to others.
I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Art History and Aesthetics, and I have experience communicating in English as well as some Hindi. This allows me to explain Malayalam clearly to students who are completely new to the language.
As a teacher, I am patient, friendly and encouraging. I understand that learning a new language can feel intimidating at first, so I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and practicing without hesitation.
Whether you want to learn Malayalam for everyday conversations, communicate with Malayalam-speaking family and friends, travel to Kerala, understand the language and culture better, or simply explore a beautiful new language, I would be happy to help you on that journey.

I believe learning a language should be enjoyable, practical and comfortable. As a native Malayalam speaker, I teach through simple explanations, everyday conversations, pronunciation practice, reading and writing exercises. I can explain concepts in English, making Malayalam easier for beginners and non-native speakers.
My classes are interactive and adapted to each student's level and goals. A typical class includes a short conversation or revision, introduction of new words and expressions, guided practice, and a small activity or conversation to apply what was learned.
I especially focus on helping students speak Malayalam naturally and confidently rather than simply memorizing grammar. I also enjoy Malayalam literature, which I can incorporate into lessons for students interested in exploring the beauty and culture of the language.
My classes are suitable for complete beginners, non-native speakers, people interested in Kerala and its culture, and anyone who wants to improve their Malayalam speaking, reading or writing skills.
