Hi, I’m Jocelyn! I’m a native Mandarin Chinese speaker with a consulting background, and I love helping students learn Chinese in a clear, practical, and confidence-building way. My lessons are structured but flexible, designed to help you actually use Mandarin in real-life situations rather than just memorize words.
A typical lesson includes pronunciation and tone practice, guided conversation, and simple explanations of grammar and cultural context. I tailor each session to your goals and level, whether you’re starting from zero, refreshing your skills, or building confidence for work, travel, or daily conversations.
What sets me apart is my organized, goal-oriented teaching style. My consulting experience helps me break down complex topics into easy steps, while keeping lessons engaging and supportive. I’m patient, encouraging, and especially enjoy helping beginners feel comfortable speaking Chinese.
My lessons are best suited for beginners and intermediate learners, adults, students, professionals, and anyone interested in practical, conversational Mandarin with real cultural insight.
