I am a native Mandarin speaker and a University of Washington graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Communication. My professional background includes educational program development, research, and cross-cultural communication. I am patient, encouraging, and attentive to each student’s learning style. I understand that learning Chinese can feel challenging, so I create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions, practice without pressure, and build confidence through steady progress.

The standard rate is $25 per hour for personalized online lessons. The first one-hour lesson is free and includes a level assessment, a discussion of your learning goals, and a sample lesson. Customized digital materials and practice exercises are included at no additional cost. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice when rescheduling a lesson.
