About Walem
Hi! I’m a native Mandarin speaker from Shenzhen, China, currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Chinese Language and Literature.
I have experience teaching Mandarin to international adult learners online, and I genuinely enjoy sharing Chinese language and culture with people from different backgrounds.
As a language learner myself, I understand the challenges of learning a new language, especially when it comes to speaking confidently.

My lessons focus on helping you speak Mandarin naturally and confidently in real-life situations. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already know some Chinese, I’ll adapt each lesson to your level, interests, and learning goals.
Instead of simply memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules, you’ll practice using Chinese through engaging conversations, everyday scenarios, and interactive activities.
During our lessons, I’ll help you improve your pronunciation, correct grammar mistakes, and learn expressions that native speakers actually use.
After each lesson, you’ll receive personalized vocabulary notes and useful sentences to review.
My goal is to create a relaxed, supportive learning environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and gradually becoming a more confident Mandarin speaker!
