About Aiying

I am a native Mandarin and Cantonese speaker pursuing a Master’s degree in Education at Trinity College Dublin. I am passionate about language-learning and enjoy helping people build confidence in using a new language.

I have solid teaching experience for children. I can tailor lessons for different goals: HSK exam preparation, daily spoken Chinese, pronunciation correction, reading & writing practice.

I understand second-language learning well from my education background. My classes are patient, structured and stress-free. Lessons can be held online or face-to-face within Dublin.
Beginners are very welcome.

About the lesson

I design personalized lessons based on each learner’s goals, age and current Chinese level. Drawing on my education-study background, I combine conversation practice, pronunciation training and structured textbook exercises. Whether you prepare for HSK tests, want daily-use Chinese or learn as a beginner, I adjust teaching pace patiently.
Previously, I have tutored primary-age children for phonics-based language learning, as well as teenagers preparing for language assessments. Each class adapts to your priorities: daily conversation, exam preparation or Chinese reading & writing。
