About Monika

I studied BA in English at a Polish university, where my knowledge of the methodology of teaching language originates. I also have an English BSc degree.
I have 3 years of experience in teaching /private tuition of English as a foreign language, to Polish students in particular, ranging from children age 6 taking their first steps with English, to college students seeking help with their basic language lessons at school, all the way to preparing students for their university entry exams. I took especially huge pride in working with dyslexic children helping them improve their school grades, where the school couldn't accommodate for more individual approach and time in larger classroom environments.
I am relocating from another city and the starting date for giving lessons in Coventry is the 1st April 2018. The lessons will be taking place at student's home or any other convenient environment of their choice.

About the lesson

I provide a comprehensive language tuition covering all aspects of English language usage, as well as tailoring the lessons with focus only on a particular aspect (for instance grammar and usage, written or spoken). All levels.
I offer usage of academic materials as well as materials prepared by myself to target the areas for individual instances (a specific themed test or job interview) or individual learning difficulties.
Webcam lessons (via Skype or Google Hangouts) are 45min long each. This is due to the fact that any homework, coursework or assignment I would like the student to accomplish before the lesson, needs to be submitted latest an evening before and checking its correctness happens beforehand in my separate time allocation (not during the session as it would happen normally during a session in person) to ensure it's actioned with a student in the most efficient way during the webcam session, without any awkward silence, utilising every second of the webcam session. The learning materials I provide are in e-format (sent as email attachments) but I also offer a virtual classroom environment where you can access the materials at any time and they are synced instantly with me my end. You can also add questions, threads and discussion points. It is included in the price and has the advantage of all your learning materials and resources we use for your progress in one place. The advantage of webcam lessons is that It can be fit around your time with more ease.
I don't give up in situations where something isn't entirely clear to a student and I always find alternative ways to present the material in a more approachable and understandable way. We're in it together and I do want any student to see satisfactory results and smile on their face.

Details

Multiple hour offer: a price of £35 for two lessons, both as a single session or 2x1hr long sessions p/week (if 2 separate 1hr sessions in one week, the 1st lesson within that week is fully priced at £20, 2nd one at a discounted £15).
Webcam lessons are £20 each but last 45 mins single or respectively 90mins double. They must be paid for upfront via PayPal transfer, direct bank transfer or cash drop-off at a convenient for you time/day. I offer Skype or Google Hangouts webcam facility (please see my full profile info on details of webcam lessons).
