My Teaching Approach
As a native Spanish speaker from Puerto Rico, I bring both cultural depth and language expertise to my lessons. My method focuses on balancing grammar, vocabulary, and conversation in a way that feels natural and engaging. I use interactive techniques such as role-play, real-life examples, and personalized exercises to make learning Spanish not only effective but enjoyable.
Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson begins with a short warm-up (like casual conversation or a vocabulary review), followed by a structured focus on a grammar point or theme. Then, we practice through speaking, listening, and interactive activities. I finish by giving practical assignments—like short dialogues, writing prompts, or cultural notes—so that students keep improving outside the lesson.

As someone who grew up in Puerto Rico, I don’t just teach Spanish words—I teach how Spanish is actually spoken, including expressions, rhythm, and cultural context.
