I incorporate: Spoken immersion: Encouraging students to use Russian from the start, even at a basic level. Grammar in context: Explaining grammar rules through real conversations, texts, and situational dialogues. Visual and auditory aids: Using videos, music, authentic texts, and interactive exercises to enhance learning. Task-based learning: Assigning practical tasks like role-playing, storytelling, and problem-solving in Russian. Personalized approach: Adapting lessons based on the student’s learning style, goals, and proficiency level. Cultural integration: Teaching about Russian customs, traditions, and history to provide a deeper understanding of the language. 2. A Typical Lesson Plan A standard lesson is 60-90 minutes and follows this structure: Warm-up (10-15 min) Review of previous material through a short conversation or quick exercises. Introduction of new vocabulary or structures using pictures, videos, or real-life situations. Main Lesson (30-40 min) Grammar & Vocabulary: Explanation of key concepts with examples. Speaking & Listening: Role-plays, dialogues, or audio comprehension exercises. Reading & Writing: Reading short texts, summarizing, or writing simple paragraphs. Practice & Application (15-20 min) Interactive exercises, real-life scenarios, and personalized feedback.
